Selling Organic: What's the Story?

In 2009, as the organic sector was arriving at the conclusion that it needed better marketing, Organic Conferences and leading certifier Organic Farmers & Growers teamed-up to launch the new and exciting conference that saw the industry heavy hitters share their expertise.

Selling Organic: What's the Story? was held in London in October 2009.

The conference designed to encourage discussion and debate was an overwhelming success and delegates enthusiastically requested that it become an annual event. We are pleased to announce that Organic Conferences and Organic Farmers & Growers are again joining forces to launch Selling Organic: The Next Chapter.

The conference will highlight and discuss where we are now, where we are going and most importantly how to get there.

Confirmed speakers and organisations include Prof Carlo Leifert, Newcastle University, Ed Garner, Kantar Worldpanel, Prof Andrew Fearne, Kent Business School, Tesco Stores Ltd, the Organic Unit at the European Commision, Haygarth, the communications agency behind the OTB Organic UK campaign and the Advertising Standards Authority.

The conference will investigate consumer attitudes and look at the most effective ways for the sector to come together to promote and market the organic industry. The day will culminate with Organic Question Time - a lively discussion and debate with questions from the floor, providing delegates with an opportunity to pose their own questions to a panel of experts.

Selling Organic: The Next Chapter will take place at the Barceló Oxford Hotel on Thursday 14th October 2010.
